My favorite singer/songwriter has passed away at the age of 34:

I've been sick to my stomach all day, just devastated by this news. Before I picked up the bass I played the acoustic guitar and Elliott was my main influence on the guitar. I was so in love with him and his music.

Elliott was probably best known for his song, "Miss Misery", off the "Good Will Hunting" soundtrack.

    Goodbye Elliott. :(

    He will be missed.

  3. Yet another great musician lost to suicide...XO was an excellent album, the only one I heard, and "Waltz #2" is among my favorite songs ever...such a beautiful track... It's a shame that such talent is so often accompanied by such pain.

  4. He will be INCREDIBLY missed. Easily, one of my favorite artists.

    He made such beautiful music.
