Altered Beast Rocks!
And what if I say no?
Then you are just not the beast that we thought you were.
I loved the digitally, not-really-a-voice way that the Sega said that line.
But I always felt the game showed a LITTLE bit too much man-skin for me. And the super-small wrestling underwear always made me wonder if I should really be playing this game. OH WELL, the part where you turn into a dragon was the best anyway.
Tecmo Bowl, anyone?
ahem, : "WHYFROYOGRAAAAaaa"
what game was that? Return of Shinobi?
been a while!
ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!!!!!!!
no kidding, i had to take off and put on my glasses when i saw that.
WELCOME TO YOUR DOOM
I believe someone set us up the bomb!
Oh, I'm a beast alright. I just like my sleep.
Altered Beast was awesome, at the arcade and on the Genesis.
But then I bought the arcade game and put it in my house (i'm an arcade/pinball guy) - when you're home with the arcade machine and no lock on the coindoor, you have infinite "quarters," soooo... you beat the game in like 15 minutes with a friend, then you're kind of all done with it. Replay value is low. =0(
I'm into the Arcade thing to! I get it now! "JAMMA"dave!
My favorite Sega game....guess
Not to high jack this thread (is that even possible?) but I'm a pinball guy too! Though I have yet to buy my first pin (I'm too scared to buy one and not be able to service it myself
Anyway, what are some of your or anyone's favorite pins? Some recent pins I've really liked are of course probably everyone's favs: Medieval Madness, Monster Bash, Lord of the Rings, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Monopoly, etc. Some classics I wish I could play again but can't easily find: Diner, Rollergames, Genesis, older Simpson's Pinball, Tomcat F-14, Fish Tales (played that one recently, AWESOME), Rocky and Bullwinkle, Cue Ball Wizard, etc.
Sorry, I love pinball! Can't wait to own one! Though I hate the fact that it would sidetrack my bass GAS :scowl:
Alriiight, dig the arcade/pinball guys. =0)
Ifrit - you're right, jammadave comes from the fact that I used to have a few JAMMA arcade games, plus I like to 'jamma" on bass, and used to "jamma" tattoo needles into people for cash =0) No jamma games these days but the name stuck.
I'm actually down to a MAME machine alone right now, but am buying a bigger house so I can yet again have a full gameroom! Definitely want at least a Monster Bash and Twilight Zone, but I've owned several pins on your list, Transverz. I sold my HUO Lord of the Rings and a Revenge From Mars to pay for my sister's college this semester, actually.
Anyways, back on topic? was there a true topic here? =0)
