Rising Pickups

    Hey, i know i'm being a pain in the ass but all i need know right now is how to rise the pickups..i loosened the screws and tryed to pick it up to rise it and it will fall right back down..

    for the pickups to rise they have to have springs under them, around the screw. If they dont have this they won't rise on their own. Another option is to put something under the picup, ive heard mouse pad works well.

  4. Why not take it to a professional to fit some springs under the screws? Shouldn't cost too much. Or if you feel confident, go to a guitar setup shop and buy the springs to put in yourself. That is if your bass can do that? Most basses can i think
