Wow. What struck me is not that they were females, but how young some of these girls are. I know kid violence is nothing new, but hearing stories about 9 y/o's killing 11 y/o's never gets easier.

Very disturbing, but I did find this kind of interesting -

The whole time I'm reading the violent accounts in that article I was thinking "This would make good material for Law and Order."

    Human nature is human nature.

    Nothing new here.

It's not "what's the world coming to".

    It's what it's always been.

If there is to be teen violence, it should be restricted to a public forum. Maybe they should be forced to wear bikini's and wrestle in pudding? Your thoughts?

Well, I don't remember young girls killing each other around here...
    Especially not in past centuries.
Maybe things like this are in human nature, but usually people just behave and not kill each other because of a rubber ball.

Literally 90% of the fights at my high school were between black girls. Somehow us guys managed to control ourselves but the girls just wailed on each other. :meh:

  11. I blame mainstream rap and hip hop.

blaming music is just like blaming video games :rollno:

  13. Okay. I'll blame the GTA series then. But just that one series.

There was a time in my life were I thought it was just the girls in my grade who were crazy. Then I saw a little unknown movie called "Mean Girls". Ever since I've seen that movie I've noticed how mean girls truly are to each other. Everything in that movie is true it truely scary.

Well, okay then not around here.
While murders and others happen around here, too, they are not that frequent... however, in the past years, their numbers multiplied.

Gee, seems we have some girl-haters in the audience.

Can you honestly say that men don't get into fights?

I could tell you some stories from when I was young(er), especially from elementary school.

Once I saw a guy who had a girl by the hair, and was trying to pull it out. (Literally). They'd had some dispute about lunch money, or something like that.

But I can assure you, there wasn't one iota of "chivalry" in the boy's attitude, he was just doing whatever it took to win the fight.

And really, it seems to me that girls are the same way. There's really not a whole lof of difference between us, in that regard.

Now, just to play Devil's Advocate for a moment, everyone knows that female canines are more protective of their domain than males are. Don't believe me? Just try to intrude on a female's territory.

I remember when I was in school the girls frowned on the 'sensless violence' us guys thought was an absolute necesity. Soon, we'll be a 100% female dominated society instead of 98.572%. :crying:
