Is Tommy using a fretless in that song.

By that way, awesome bass line in that song and it truly shows what a talented guitarist Stevie was. I love it cause it's bluesy jazz............or jazzy blues, I'm not sure which one.

Shannon plays a fretted jazz on that one. I don't think he ever plays fretless.

Gallien Krueger for the last 12 years!
That without a doubt, my favorite SRV tune.

"Riviera Paradise" is my all time favorite SRV song.
Sometimes I've just put it on "repeat" and let it run over and over and over. To me, it indicated that SRV was ready to take his music to the next step if his untimely death had not intervened.

That Clayton and Shannon were equal to the task is a positive sign. too, that the trio had all grown together. Shannon does a wonderful bassline in "Paradise", one that is quite different from his previous work.
