Heavy price tag, Worth it ?

  5. VERY sweet though. I really like it.

  6. I haven't tried one, but my teacher has one of the MB-2 fretless 5-strings, and it's beautiful. It sounds great too! I've seen him switching between his Rob Allen and upright about 50/50 for his Jazz gigs.

i got an e-mail Rob Allen about the D5.

he forgot to give me a price, but said the wait is only 3 months.

get yer orders in before all that great koa is snatched up!!!

i'm looking through my comix, lps and basses to see what i can sell to get one.

now THAT'S some serious interest, eh?

if only i had time to play it once i got it.

I believe he is asking somewhere around $4500 for this model?

    Somewhere around that, anyway.

That's about $3500 over my head at the moment. I sure would love to play one.
