This bass is amazing! This "Limited Edition" Rob Allen is a 5 string with an upgraded fretless Macassaer Ebony unlined fingerboard, 35' scale, Rare Peruvian Walnut top with matching headstock. The bass only shows the slightest bit of wear, it plays great and is in excellent condition. The bass sounds great better then any other Rob Allen I've heard, I really prefer the 35' scale for these basses. Unfortunately I must thin the herd and I am a much more proficient fretted 4 stringer than anything else. Let me know if you have any questions
Here is link to some pics of the bass, it also comes with a really nice custom Rob Allen OHSC. Thanks http://www.geocities.com/marchunsaker/marc1.html
Rob Allen Limited Edition 5 with rare and gorgeous Peruvian Walnut top, unlined Macassar Ebony Fingerboard and bridge, 35 inch scale, Limted edition Allen OHSC. I just traded Lamarjones for this bass because he got it from me a few months ago. I knew the quality and condition of this bass were excellent so it makes for great trade bait! It really playr and sound like a dream, but I am not a 5 string player. I will entertain a straight cash deal for 1500.00 or will accept trades/partial trades for a high end jazz bass 4, good precision 4 string, or a Rob Allen 4 string. I would also think about an iamp 800. Thanks and e-mail for pics or click on links below http://www.geocities.com/marchunsaker/marc1.html http://www.lamarjonz.com/Bass/RALE.htm
Marc: I've got a Lakland Skyline Sunburst Bob Glaub for trade (plus cash of course) towards the Rob Allen if you are interested. Let me know if you would like to see pics. Marc
