Robbie Shakespeare misses Solana Beach gig

    I was so looking forward to the Friday June 7th Mykal Rose show at the Solana Beach Belly Up Tavern. Out comes a fraile looking Sly Dunbar (60 years of drumming will do that) and Reggae legend Lloyd Parks. I'm thinking "Oh, oh..."
    Sure enough, during Rose's intro they announce Parks would be sittting in.
    Don't get me wrong, Parks nailed all his parts...but "Where is Robbie Shakespear?"
    Any word on the missed gig? Health?
    Did he make the NorCal gigs?
