Robert Fripp is going around taking pictures of Tony Levin's bass gear at rehearsals of the new KC lineup. He's also been triggering alot of bass sounds on his guitar synth lately. Does Fripp have GAS for a bass?

Looking at this bass, I can't say I blame him:

Maybe it did... Maybe he was able to salvage it...

  7. actually (it is no joke) while Tony had several stuffs and one of his basses into a barn for his own reasons (rehearsals or something) this building went on fire and therefore this bass went seriously damaged; quickly sent to Ernie Ball for repair it returned in playing shape. Maybe it's that one!

I know that the three string was definitely taken in the fire... There is a pic somewhere of him holding the charred bridge.... A real sad site :bawl:

I recently purchased Trey Gunn's 4x10 road case from the last tour, nice little bit of history. Still has a shipping sticker on top that says "Trey Gunn - King Crimson" on top, I put a lamination over it to protect it, but who know's how long that will last with use . . .

Man that is really hip. Full of mojo, right?

There is this 19 year old bassist here in ATL that has a Warwick 5 with woodburned etchings all over the face of it... Supposedly it was Doug Wimbish's... Kinda hip.
