Went to see Tower of Power tonight. Rocco was not there and the bass had to be laid down by Roger Smith on organ the whole night. It was announced that Rocco had made the sound check this afternoon but later became ill and was carried away in an ambulance. Let's hope it's nothing serious.

Weird and scary. I would be so bummed if I went to see ToP and missed Rocco, he would make the show for me.

Needless to say I was bummed, but it was still a great show.

    Prayers for Rocco's health.

There's nothing specific on his FB page, but a bunch of people are offering prayers.

This would be the second time he's been in a bad way in hospital, right? I hope he is okay.

I guess you remember that Bobby Vega subbed for Rocco a few years ago. I heard Vega was great in that role.

As previously reported, Rocco Prestia will be having kidney transplant surgery in the near future. We are happy to announce that several donors have come forward and are being tested for compatibility. Rocco finished up in Las Vegas and is taking some time off to attend to his medical needs. For now, Ray McKinley is subbing for Rocco, as he has done in the past. He is a great player and knows how to lay down the TOP groove. Rocco will be back as soon as he is fully recuperated

Thoughts and prayers to Rocco to pull through.

Meanwhile, I wonder what Victor "BALCO" Conte is doing.

that's awful, I really hope he pulls through. + I can't imagine what ToP would sound like with an organ sub

That's right, Conte did play for TOP at one time.
