"If you love music, festival fun and have some time to spare, the Rochester International Jazz Festival can use your help.

Volunteers are needed now through the festival, to be held June 4-12. Volunteer activities include distributing brochures, helping with mailings and other clerical needs, ticket collecting, merchandise sales, logistics and promotion. Shifts vary according to availability and needs.

Hundreds of volunteers donated their time last year, and helped make the festival a resounding success.

To volunteer, call Vanessa Capogreco at the Springut Group at 585-473-4482. Application forms are also available at www.rochesterjazz.com. The application deadline is Friday, May 21. Training is provided."
