"Rock On" Def Leppard Bass Sound

    Does anyone have any idea what effects Rick Savage uses for his bass sound on "Rock On" from the "Yeah!" CD?

    The last time I checked, he had been using a five string American made Washburn. He does have his own website seperate from the group's, so you may find the answer there.

    Rick isnt a very technical guy when it comes to gear- I bet its nothing more than his Washburn di'ed w/ some echo...

    On that particular track, it sounds like a regular envelope filter, maybe even a bassballs.
