Roger (R bass) RJ5NT This is a truly beautiful instrument. Between the mahogany block inlays on the flame maple on backside of neck, it’s all brought together with the birdseye maple top. I started to count the birdseye’s and almost lost it. Wonderful necks on these basses to. Start as a shallow C at nut end and flatten out as you go up the neck towards the bridge. The Ulyate pickups and the Aguilar OBP-2 preamp are an excellent match for this bass as together, they can cover a lot of sonic ground. 70's wound single coils with a little hum (when panned to an individual pickup). Action set nice and low. All black Hipshot hardware really set’s this bass off. Balances extremely well on strap. I’m an older player, smaller stature, and have been in the studio for hours with this bass strapped on and no shoulder fatigue at all. I’ve examined this bass from top to bottom and I have found no scuffs, dents or any other blemishes, so I’ll call it in mint condition. My interest as far as bass trades is more towards Dingwall 5ers, Sadowsky, other 5 stringers in a PJ configuration and vintage bass’s, but will consider other offers both 4 and 5 stringers. Can add a few bucks if needed. Oh yeah, 34” scale length and shorter. I just come to find that finish isn't as mint as I thought. Found these blemishes in photo and will correct price according. I'm willing to knock off 100.00 to bring the price down to 2300.00
