Rogue Basses

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by teprodic, Aug 19, 2003.

  1. Are Rogue basses any good? My girlfriend recently decided that she wanted to play bass like me. She saw a model called the LX 405. Which is a 5 string and claims to have "like EMG style humbuckers". I don't know any history about Rogues that is why I need your help to know wether these basses are any good. Personally I don't think they are because they price is very cheap. But well she wants to start a band similar to the metal band "Kittie". So she's looking for that nice low metal sound. I was hoping there would be an Ibanez around $500 dollars or lower that can suit that. If any of you know any good bass under $500 that would be good for metal please post it. Also she is left handed and I notice that sometimes they don't make models for left handed players. So please help me and her find her bass.
