    hey all.
I just put a new Hofner tailpiece on my Rogue violin bass. I also bought (from all parts.com) a Hofner bridge, but I'll return it since it doesn't fit the Rogue, as the Rogue is a bit larger in scale than a Hofner bass.
Also, I slapped some Rotosound medium gauge monel flatwounds on it, and I'm pretty pleased. I wrote somewhere on here that I used nylon tapewounds on it, but that was a typo, they were the fender flats. Anyway, even with a little Hofner modifcation, and some good flatwounds, I'm a bit more proud of the Rogue than ever.

The only mod I've done to my VB-100 so far has been to sand the bridge to better match the top contour- makes a big difference in keeping it from sliding around. I'm using the Rototsound flats, too. Great bass for the money. I'll probably replace the pots and the output jack one of these days.
