Rogue?

  1. Sometimes I see "Rogue by Squier" and sometimes I see "Rogue by Gibson". What's going on?

Ive never seen rogue by gibson but ill take your word for it. This must mean that both companies, Gibson and Fender (which owns squier) owns copyrights to rogue.

The only time I have seen "Rogue by Gibson"...is the strings that Musician's Friend sells.
I would think that "Rogue" is a name licensed out to diferent companies for production of a varity of low cost items.
