Roland Cube Bass 100 : speaker limitations?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Inconnu, Apr 1, 2013.

  1. Hi!

I once owned a Cube Bass 100 and the speaker seemed very limited as it farted out, before the low E (so don't even think about the low B), when used with my active basses (set at flat, I didn't push the lows that much).

I sold the thing back, thinking it was the amps limitations, but I only read great review of that amp, some are even doing small gigs with it. Maybe the one I had was faulty...

I could now get my hands on one, for cheap. So I'm passing on the question to you :

Is the Roland Cube Bass 100's speaker limited in terms of low end it can deliver (and I mean very limited, as in you'd have to cut lows) or is it worth a second look?
