Roland Cube Bass 30 Modification??

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by xolin, Sep 28, 2008.

  1. I wanted to use my Roland Cube 30 Bass amp for its effects because they actually rock the socks off my pedals. Is this possible? I have never modded anything, let alone opened a combo and created cables, etc.
How could this be done? I just want to send the effects to my real amp.

If it has a headphone socket, use that as your output and then there's no need to modify anything inside.

Have you tried sending the Cube 30 line out to your power amp input? I've run mine into my instrument input. It's a little too hot, but you could use it that way. Bypassing your rig's preamp ought to work even better.
  4. It distorts immediately :(
