Has anyone tried this small (~ 50 pounds!) combos with a Double Bass ?

I'm using a DB 700 with my double bass and it works very well!

Thanks for your answer. Could you develop a bit: what setup you have, what you play, where & with who. How do you compare it with other rigs.

    Olivier:
    Can you describe the DB500?
    Power? Speaker size?
Is it a bass or keyboards amp?
(I know Roland has some good keyboards amp that can be used for bass, and their wide, flat frequency response give an hifi output)

    Salut François,

here you go: DB 500. The marketing rap is directed at planksters but it could work well for DB. What bugs me is the weight.

In fact I bumped into this add: ampli basse numérique, which I found intriguing since my contra combo is also numeric...

    Merci, Olivier.
That FFP thing seems a dubious gadget to me.
Does it work for a DB? :meh:

My WM12 also weights about 50 pounds, and the carrying handle is not aligned with the gravity center... :(
