Roll call & gear call for the NYC get-together.

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by Michael Jewels, Jul 14, 2004.

  1. As some others have suggested, let's use this new thread to see who's going to come to the NYC get-together, and what gear they'll bring.

    The hall is at:

    The Woodhaven Athletic Club
    86-08 95th Avenue
    Ozone Park, N.Y. 11416

Here's a map to give you an idea where it is: http://www.queenscouncilarts.org/map/

Find Kennedy Airport, then click on Ozone Park, which is located slightly above and to the left. The hall is located within the little triangle formed by Atlantic Avenue, Rockaway Blvd, and Woodhaven Blvd. It's just left of the "O" of Ozone Park.

    Try Mapquest for directions http://mapquest.com

If anyone needs more accurate directions, let me know here, and I'll write them out.

So, I'm coming and going to bring my Ampeg B100R and basses. Which ones, I'll decide later.

    Mike

    Count me in!

I'm bringing a B100R, but it's been having some problems so if it cuts out on me I'll bring my Hartke 4.5 and my Peavey Kilobass. As for basses, I'm not sure yet.

I'll be there. I'll bring, hmmm.... I don't know what I'll bring. A couple of basses I guess, whatever is moving me the most that day. I'm also going to bring my guitarist and hopefully drummer so there'll be some people to jam with. Are there going to be drums and a guitar amp there?????

I'll be there. I'll bring my YoKramer w/ Roland VBass and my amp. I'll also bring a PA unless someone tells me not to. I'll ask my drummer if he wants to come.

  13. Joe Nerve, my friend, Craig is going to bring at least one guitar amp. I think it's an old Fender Vibrolux. He also said he might bring a few friends from his hangout, Guitar.com We're still not 100% sure about drums, but we've got 3 weeks to go.

Jondog, it would be absolutely great if you brought your PA. Bring your drummer too. :hyper:

So, do you guys want to keep the hours of 12 - 6pm, or maybe go with 2 - 8pm?

    I'm easy.

2-8 is definitely better for me also. I've got a gig the nite before and probably won't get to sleep till the early morning.
