Too far for me as well -- and I am but a 90 minute drive. But as much as I love driving that desert highway, it is a nightmare when crowded.
I also don't tend to spend more than $40 on a concert ticket. But given an all-access pass and a helicopter and landing pad, I'd be there with bells on.

I am tempted but I swore off watching zombies earlier this year, except for Z Nation.

I'd need a backstage pass as well. I'm getting too old to stand in gigantic crowds full of chemically altered people with zero sense of personal space. Smaller, cheaper shows are my preference as well.

This sounds like a real Dinosaur Rock festival.

Yeah, the whole point to going to a "fest" is the Brown Acid Experience, anyway.

Without that, and coupled with stupidly expensive tickets....why bother? ;)
  12. The show will feature an oxygen tent and walker parking! :D

Man I hear ya. I really don't care for going to big festivals anymore, but I'm here in LA in "the biz" so I've been to Coachella a few times in recent years--I think have at least 20+ years on everybody else there though. When I was able to hang in the VIP area it was OK(but for every cool person there were 10 annoying wannabes…), but being stuck out in the field---horrible. I didn't mind that kinda scene when I was 19, but now---forget it!
