    Wow, first Roomian thread ever.

I have a friend who has a fretless 4. He's had it for years. Really cool. I'm not crazy about the headstock, but it's a perfectly ok design, just my opinion.
  3. what's the headstock design like?

    mine's just a plain old 2x2.

fretless 4 as well. great bass.
  4. first attempt at posting a pic off my computer...

    wish me luck
  5. ok, that seems to work.... let's try the other one.

    Sure, whatever. 3CG.:p

Yup, the headstock on your bass is the same as my friend's. Like you said, it's a plain old 2 + 2. Not fancy, but it does the job.

I own a Roomian 4-string fretless. Doug Roomian works out of Noe Valley Music in San Francisco, and is primarly known for fine acoustic guitars. This bass was made in 1985, and originally had Dimarzio pickups, which I replaced with Bartolinis (all passive). This has one of the thinnest necks I've ever played..
