I'm looking to get a Roscoe 6 string and I've been noticing that 99% of 6-string Roscoes are SKBs.... anyone know why we rarely see LG 3006? Neck dive or anything else? I actually prefer the LG body style better but wanted to make sure there wasn't something I'm missing here. Thanks!

  2. Actually, we make more than 1 of 100 as LG 3006's! ;)

But, yes, they are a bit "rare"...

I don't notice a severe neck-dive issue with them, say like a Thumb bass, but they are a bit "neck-heavy" when compared to the SKB or Century bodies, especially on a lighter bodied bass. If you "choose wisely", (i.e. heavier body woods, maybe upgrading to the Hipshot Ultralights) you can definitely get an LG 3006 that balances on a strap well.
