The pickups on my Roscoe 4 are angled. Does anyone know if the pole pieces are angled too. or can I replace these with stock Bartolini soapbars? I'm looking for a deeper, richer more refined sound than the stock (very hot) pickups offer.

Hey Larzito! Welcome to TalkBass :D
    Dallas eh?...I'm in Plano ;)

I found this on the Roscoe website FAQ page...

You may be outta' luck, what with them bein' "custom".
You might try "lowering the river", i.e, do some tweaking on the preamp.
I dunno' the Roscoe line that well, but I'm guessin' there's a preamp?
See if you can get a different Bart or swap it out for an Aguilar.
Or maybe (if it ain't potted) try swappin' some caps of different values.
I'm sure there are some threads here Re different on-board preamps and their tone.
Try "search" at the top of the page.

    Happy huntin' ! ;)
