I thought I had my G.A.S. under control. This thing plays so easily, and sounds so killer, I can't put it down.

Best bang-for-the-buck out the right now imho. Made in NC, great build and tone, reasonably priced. Win-win.

My fretted Roscoe 5 has very similar specs to this and kills. I was rumbling the foundation at church last night.

With the Swamp ash body, has that wood-y sound. I solo the bridge pickup most of the time for that Jaco, Berlin, Willis sound. The bridge pickup is a little closer than the Jazz Bass specs, so it really has that Berlin sound.
VERY loud bass. Even louder than my Bongo 4HH which has a massive preamp. Cool Idea that Roscoe has a small hole so you can adjust the trim pot for gain if you want to match the gain to other basses or just to set you're desired signal.
Very easy bass to play. I was worried at first being 35", but I'm now noticing It's easier to play than my 34" Jazz Basses, Smith 5 and Bongo. And VERY light bass as well.

Congrat's! Beautiful top! I love the darker center section created from the book matched bubinga top!

Maybe this bass will put the clamps back down on the GAS!:)
