Here's a dead mint Roscoe LG-3005 with the following specs:

    *Ash body
    *Exhibition grade Quiltted Maple top
    *Trans Green finish
    *Ebony board
    *Aguilar OPB-3 pre

I'm looking for $1575 shipped for the bass, but I will consider trades so let me know what you have, and as always, I'll include cash for the right bass.

    Pics here: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mgmir...one=http://photos.sbc.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos.

*Edit: The bass comes with the original Roscoe gigcase.*

  7. HT -

Just saw a SKB-3006 like you had for sale on appear Ebay tonight! Pics were very similar to yours. Been doing so much looking lately that things are starting to look the same, but I may be reading too much into it.

    Thanks for the heads-up!
I'm going to look into it tomorrow. Someone else sent me a link to the ebay auction and I pretty much verified it as mine, but I'll have to talk with the new owner to confirm that.

  9. With all the shipping that goes on, I wonder if sometimes our men and women in Brown might decide to see what's inside some of these packages. I've had two basses shipped to me and arrived with cracked necks, so care is not something that's routinely practiced by a handful of unsavory employees. (Now I always pay for the added insurance!)

Hey Guys, yes, I bought Gene's 3006. I have been accustomed to playing 34" 5 strings with 19mm string spacing. for the last year so I figured the 35" 6 would be quite an easy progression. I was wrong.
The bass is indeed fantastic but It is going to take more time to adjust than I currently have.

  11. Thanks for restoring my faith in UPS!!

Bump for a great bass and a super guy to deal with! I can also vouch for the Aggie OBP-3 pre installed in a Roscoe. Perfect blend of the best of the Bart (awesome mid's) and Demeter (sizzling highs & smooth lows) pre's.

  13. Custom Conklin?

It's floating around on this "for sale" page. Check it out :D
