Roscoe SKB 3006 6 string FS

Discussion in '[OLD FORUM] Bass Guitars, Amps, and Accessories: F' started by Oldie but noobe, Aug 15, 2005.

  1. This is a new looking SKB 3006

It is used. I am the second owner. The action is nice and low and plays great. I brought it to the Roscoe GTG so anyone there can back me up as far as the condition.

A new one with the same options would sell for $3845.00
    The options are

    Diamond wood nut.
    18 volt Bart pre-amp
The first of the two levels of Maple on the swamp ash body.
    The formfit case.

They balance and playability are amazing.
Asking $1950.00. Shipped to anywhere in the lower 48

Yeah, I really liked that guy. Are you not into her?

  9. Yes I just got it a few months ago. I got cut back to part time at work right after I bought the bass.

It plays and sounds as good as it looks. I can't imagine finding a replacement for it. Like I said the guys at the Roscoe GTG looked it over and played it. They can tell you it is 100% Some said it coud pass for a new one.

Come on guys make me some offers.

Yup, I played it at the Roscoe GTG, very clean, pretty bass, plays great, sounds great. I wouldn't hesitate to put it in a new case and ship it from here, it's THAT clean. It's listed in our records as having a "standard" quilted maple top, but in my time at Bass Central, I've seen quilts on basses that were graded as AAAA or AAAAA that were not as nice as this one. Gotta have a talk with el jefe about under-valuing our tops! ;)

Someone is going to get a real smoker of a bass, and Lou is gonna get some heartbreak....man, I really wish you didn't have to give that one up, Lou, she's a keeper...

    :(
