This bass is a featherweight stunner! Only 7.8 lbs, and sounds monstrous!

Ash body, walnut top, maple neck and 24 fret wenge fingerboard. Bass is in excellent condition; no dings or scratches. The finish along the edge of the pickups where I anchor my thumb is a bit shiny. (I try to show it in the last picture.)

Bartolini soapbar pickups and 3-band EQ (18 volt), with switchable mids @ 400hz & 800hz. The wenge board gives this bass excellent articulation, while the EQ provides an extreme range of settings from modern hi-fi to snarly chainsaw. Preamp output is adjustable via a set screw accessible thru an access port in the rear control cavity cover.

This is a great player for both finger style and slap, and it’s so light and well-balanced that you’ll barely notice it’s there thru a 3 hour gig. 34” scale, very ergonomic and comfortable, with easy access to all 24 frets. Comes with a Roscoe gig bag.

This bass is priced to sell, $1500 + shipping (US only). Not interested in trades.

Does it have the ability to switch to passive mode or active only? Beautiful bass...

    Thanks. It is beautiful. :)

It's active only. I imagine that it would be easy to wire up a bypass switch or mod the volume to be push/pull, active/passive. But as I have the mechanical aptitude of a can of Silly String, I know better than to attempt things like that myself. ;)

Tell me about it! I just spent that last hour playing this (as is always the case when one decides to sell a bass) wondering "What the hell am I thinking?"

Keith and his crew added series/coil tap/parallel switches for each pickup AND added an active/passive volume pot to my LG3005. The price was VERY reasonable considering how many new tonal options my bass now has. GLWTS
