Nice piece of ash. Good thing (for me) it's not a 5'er. GLWTS

OMG, a boutique bass at Fender prices, sellers like this make Talkbass the only place to spend your hard earned money. I am strictly a 5 string player, but every bassist needs at least one 4 string in his stable. If it wasn’t for my 2 Frankenstein P basses, I would have to find some way to get this bass. GLWYS!

I think that these LG 4s are the best buys on the market.

8.4 lbs, Bartolini pups, Bartolini NTMB + F preamp. Bass is completely stock as it came from Roscoe. I'm not sure which barts these are
but the PDF I posted lists all the options available.

Jeez...Just bought two nice basses and have to sell a couple guitars to pay for them....this would have been a consideration for sure, or still would if I could afford another. Good luck with the sale. What a beauty.

Would love to have a Roscoe 4. If only shipping to Canada wasn't so expensive...

  18. Haven't played one of these. I'm guessing the neck profile is far more like a J than a P? I prefer a wider/flatter p style profile. Tone-wise, can you dial in some low-end thunder or does it lean to more of a slap-style?

It's not a slap monster at all, of course I don't slap much so I may not have the tone adjustments right for that... It's more of a rounded tone I guess.
You can definitely bring out a huge bottom end as well as defined mid range. The neck has the same nut width as a jazz but the back of the neck has
a slight flattening which makes it very comfortable to fret.

  20. Thanks Jake...I'm seriously considering it.
