Roto psd 99 fit to p-bass?

    Does anyone know whether rotosound psd 99 strings will work on a 2013 Fender American Standard Precision? I'm concerned specifically with the ball ends conforming to the bridge, whether bridge strung (looks like a tight squeeze next to the intonation screws) or body strung (core wire bending sharply over wood hole).

    If it's any help, I had them fitted to my 2011 US Precision through the body with no issues at all.

    Lovely tone! It really brings out the tonal qualities of a Precision bass IMO.
    I only took them off because I switched to flatwounds.

    I used flatwounds for a few months on my P but went right back to my 99's. Wonderful tones.
