What are they supposed to sound like? I got a set on Tuesday, and they have some of the fresh roundwound "zing" & "twang", but no where near a regular set of Rotos, but also not dead.

Overall, they aren't very much like regular Roto 66s. Is that how pressure-wounds are supposed to sound like? I don't know if that's what they're supposed to sound like or if I got a crappy set. There's almost no finger noise, as advertised, which is nice, and they also don't tear up your fingers, which I really like, very smooth, almost like flats. Btw, they probably have had about 20 hours of playing time.

Don't think I'll be buying them again but I'm certainly glad I'm trying them.

Wait until they settle in. Very underrated strings IMO. A 105-80-60-45 set is featured in in my sig.

I've wondered myself about the 55's. I think they're supposed to be a dialed-down version of the 66's, which I use, but I'm not too sure. Haven't seen any good demos of them to be sure.
