I just bought a pack and put them on my Warwick, they're VERY light (.30-.90). When I installed them on my warwick (which had .45-.105), It was unplayable. I had to tweak the neck A LOT in order to get it bowed enough to play well. Once I got it setup, I adjusted the nut and bridge, and now the thing plays amazingly. Wicky can be slapped so easily, and tapping is a breeze. The action is medium high, but pushing down the string requires no effort. As far as string buzz goes, there's only a little on the first few frets, but that can be fixed with a little more tweaking. These are amazing strings that give an equally amazing sound and feel to a bass. :hyper:

  2. Great :) Could you describe the sound a little more? Ever since I learned that these were Gail Ann Dorseys favorite strings, I've been wanting to try them out.

    >>>> Glad you like them. Yes, the Funkmasters are very
light; I figured you would have to make some changes
to your set up, maybe even change the nut.

    >>>> Check out some of Mark King's work, he has been
    playing these strings for years.
