    Greetings Bassmeisters,
Any of you cats know where I can get info on the tensions of Rotosound 45 to 105 gauge set of nickel strings?
I just got a 66 Precision. It has the Rotosounds on it. I want to replace them with D'Addario XL. I'd like to use strings with the same tension or at least as close as possible.
If you can help me, I'll apprecitae it immensely.
    Thanx a mil.

  2. I just went to their site. They don't have the tension info posted on their strings, but, try the "e-mail us," option. I'm sure they'll help you out.

  3. I don't think the tension is consistent with rotosound, because there a hand-made string. That is why you won't find tensions.

Belive me I've tried to find out tensions already.

But I think the di'addario's have more tension than the rotosounds, after I put my rotosounds on after having di'addario's on, I had to relieve neck tension to compensate. It was on a 71 p-bass;)
