rouge lx205-b as a back up bass?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by ErikKrueger, Jan 13, 2003.

  1. hello,

i sold my previous bass to try to get some money back from buying a warwick nt 5 string. but alas, i need a back up bass for if i break a string onstage and to just throw around a bit. i have been thingking about the afore mentioned bass as that back up bass. has anyone ever played one and would it be a good deal for 129.99? any info on this bass would be greatly appreciated. heh, and no "save your money for a better bass, it will be worth it" replies. i dont want two high end basses, my warwick is enough.

    thank you

I have played one of these before. They are just ok for the money. Find a good used mexican made fender. they are MUCH better. The rogue is just a hit-and-miss if you ask me. 1 in about 50 is okay, 1 in 500 good. None awesome. Believe me. Don't waste the money. They are for beginners only, pretty much. Sorry if this offends.
