hey. just got a rack to put my gk head in and just wondering is it ok to take the rubber ffeet off or are the screws holding them on connected to something ellse... just being paranoid but meh thought id ask.
Not familular with your specific head, but have taken off many, many others. Generally nothing other than feet affected by the rubber foot screw. But on the cautious side, gently start removing one a little at a time and check for movement or a loose sound while jiggling the screw and a small shake of the cab to determine if something else is loosening up as well. Just take things slowly.
I've successfully removed the ruber feet form serveral other brands of amps too. (Don't reinstall any screws) I did this search and didn't find anyone reporting problems after Gk ruber feet removal, so I'd say your definitely safe to go for it: http://www.google.com/custom?domain...;S:http://www.talkbass.com;LP:1;FORID:1&hl=en
if you put in in the bottom of your rack, the feet can probably stay put. i left mine on, and they still dont touch the rack case. dont know how this factors into your scheme.
