i bought a fender rumble25 combo a couple of months ago and used it mainly in my room with headphones or low volume. Well yesterday some guys invited me to play with them and i had a chance to rise the volume. to my surprise the amp sounded distorted. Like, bad distorsion not the good one. is this a speaker problem? thru headphones sounds good.

Its because your amp is WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY WAY underpowered to play along with live drums or other amplified instruments. 25 watts is only good for bedroom practicing.

Get something with 200 to 300 watts if you want to jam with others.
