Running a MicroPOG on AC vs DC?

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by smo, Oct 26, 2009.

  1. Hi all,

I've been running my MicroPOG on DC since I got it, but in the manual it says to use only AC.
(I don't have an AC adapter)

    Is there a tone difference?

Also - It says to use at least 200mA - but I have been able to run it on as low as 60-100mA of DC with no huge change in tone that I can tell.

    Should I be using AC?

    Thanks, smo

The adapter that comes with it is an AC to DC adapter- it puts out DC power. DON'T run it on just AC! :D I've run it on 100mA with no issue as well.

  3. he he - cool.
    Just wondering out loud.......thanks Bryan!
