This is no longer for sale, it now lives in sunny England!
Fantastic! Thanks Nino.
This Vintage 5 looks great ! I love the look of the caramel burst with a white pickguard. Congrats !
BTW, I just took delivery of my new Sadowsky this morning. Will open a new thread as soon as I have pics.
Wow! I was wondering how long that one would last!
Ari, definetly post picture when you get a chance?
Is that the one with the spalted top?
I am a rank amatuer but I have played and own some very nice basses, I have to say this bass is BEEYOOTIFUL.
I telephoned Roger to thank him and I explained that the quality of the bass is immediately apparent just looking at it as you open the case.
I have a Lakland 55-94 Deluxe also but the clarity and sustain of this Sadowsky is excellent in comparison, although maybe the Laks' setup needs some attention.(Don't hate me Munji, I have an Eden Highwayman and 410XST )
By the way Nino check out jaydeeguitars.com
They're both VERY nice basses. I liked Flankers sooo much I almost cancelled my Standard 4 to buy it but I really want another 4 string so the Standard 4 should be ready in a month or so.
Ari, All I can say is WOW!!!!! I'n not particularly fond of Fretless basses, but I couldn't resist playing it. The spalt is AWESOME & I'm glad I got to play youre because I didn't get a chance to play Jeff Raders Spalt fretless.
I really wanted that bass... Caramel burst is gorgeous, but I would have wanted gold hardware.. Anyways congrats and enjoy....
Ahhh, I was wondering who would end up with this work of art... I kept ing over it every time I visited Sadowsky's website. I think it has to be the best looking Sadowsky I've seen yet. ENJOY!
*seething with jealously*
That is a gorgeous Sadowsky- very nice!! congrats!
That is one sweet bass. Congrats
Look at what I found.
A pick of me playing Flank's bass.
So NINO , did you take the 'virginity' of the bass?
Anyway that's a real beauty, I think she's the most beautiful Sad I've seen. Unfortunately I play 4,otherwise it will be gone the first day it appeared.
By the way I am expecting my 'conservative' Sadowsky, a P/J 4 with sunburst, tortoise and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets and full Jazzbody.
This is my new Sadowsky Standard 4 that is being built for me. For more info, <a href="http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59785&perpage=20&highlight=My%20Sadowsky&pagenumber=1">CLICK HERE</a>
Her sordid past matters not, she has matured into a true lady!
Nino!! Your new Sad looks awsome , just like a Siberian tiger, its a different quilt than usual
I think I have to show my quilt next time, I haven't yet taken a proper pic.of my lady.
england, sunny? is that possible? j/k. congrats on the new bass, it's beautiful.
