Saddle Break Angle (LaBella Flats)

Discussion in 'Strings [BG]' started by Rockbobmel, Dec 15, 2014.

  1. I just got a set of Labella Flats 760FM (Through Body) and strung em up. No real problems, but I heard LaBellas were fussy when it comes to bending. I just put on a Hipshot A brass bridge and this is what the break angle looks like.. The windings spread when going over the saddles...Any comments?

Do they sound fine? I have US P-Bass and have the same thing going on. Apparently doing straight through is better for flats but you know what? Don't care. Mine also have slightly spread windings. Sounds great though. Love those strings.

I'm getting a set soon from BSO to go on my MIJ 51 P. Will report here how mine look, but I'd say the ones in your pics don't look like a problem to me :)
