Quite possibly the best band you've never heard.

My uncle played me some of one of their CDs when i went to his house in Seattle last summer, and I was quite intrigued. Eventually, he sent me a CD of theirs and it is very good. I just got my second CD by them a few weeks ago.

    The band has two lineups:
    (old band):
    Paul Hinklin-bass
    Skerik(?)-sax
    Evan Schiller-drums

    (new band)
    Paul, Evan, and......Michael Manring!!

The man himself (that is, man-thing) is involved with the band. They are that good.

If you love good bass playing (and I know you do), you should pick up at least one cd. You won't be disappointed. (Bass Player reviewed their latest CD and described their -new- sound as "Les Claypool meets Percy Jones").

    Definitely some great stuff!

I still think the bass intro to "Depth Charge" is some of the coolest I've ever heard.

Ya, my sister said "check this out, you'll like it"...then came that intro, followed by the screaming sax...and I've been hooked ever since...

in 1998 I bough a '71 P-bass form bass Northwest, and was told it used to belong to Paul. (Not the one pictured in my avatar)
