Sadowsky copy

    very nice bass. i wonder how sadowsky feels about someone copying their design.

    Most likely the same way Leo Fender would have felt about Sadowsky and everyone else copying his!

    I don't think Sadowsky can complain considering a large proportion of their business is emulating Fender designs. I have a great Sadowsky NYC P bass.

    I noticed that the headstock is also like the Sadowsky. Usually "copy" basses have a diff headstock that distinguishes them at first glance.

    That is more true these days ... but in the history of copies that does not hold true ... ever heard of ... Tokai instruments?

    In 1978 Tokai even had a Gibson Les Paul copy that actually said "Les Paul" on the headstock.
