Hey all. Here is the latest family photo. From left to right
    Sadowsky NYC standard 5
    Sadowsky NYC standard 4
    Sadowsky Metro 4
    Sadowsky Metro UV 4

The UV is the latest. Still getting used to the tone but I love it more every gig. Wow! More agressive sounding than the others. Love the neck profile and the early '70's look!

All are ash bodies. All are very light. The heaviest is the UV at 8.8lbs! Very easy on the shoulder. All are great on the ears! LOL

Not pictured is my '83 Alembic Spoiler. Very retired LOL

P.S. Can anyone PM me and run me through the process of inserting a photo? I cant figure it out. I'm kinda computer challenged

Beautiful, but a very conspicuous lack of a Sad P/J. I can't imagine life without my P/J!!!

    Now I need a Sadowsky J.

  11. Mark: I've just mentioned to post same reply! (just kidding)

Bikeplate: Anyway this is dream bass family, but I never tried or heard any of them. Do you have some clips of them, or are there any links which are related to? Thanks!

Only one 5...good call, dude! 4-bangers rule!

OK, well if you're not rich, it must be nice to have such an amount of disposable income to where you can buy 4 Sadowskys. You must not have kids. If you had kids you'd be lucky to own a MIA Fender ;)

Nice owns! I own just one Sadowsky, but it feels so good for me, that I'm going to eventually get at least another one.

I am a computer professional, and I wouldn't think twice about spending 10-15K on computer equipment for freelance work. Why do you think that it's not justifiable for a working musician to do the same? I have kids, and I make decisions that seem prudent to MY life, don't go passing judgements on his decisions.

Besides, we should consider ourselves lucky, I know horn players who would KILL to be able to spend 1-2 thousand bucks and get something remotely playable for their money!

Very nice! As I understand it, the Metro UV series are the only Sadowsky's to offer the "70's" Jazz pickup placement. Is that right? I'd love to be able to A/B that UV against a "regular" Sadowsky J-bass. In addition to being more "agressive", can you provide any more insight into the tonal differences?

    Thanks, Tom.
