I'd put a big signature at the 12th fret. :ninja:

Nice looking bass! But what does the three knobs do? My '51 has 2 (V&T) and why does it have 2 sorts of knobs?

Man, I usually think that the Sadowsky's are really sharp looking, but that is not at all appealing to me :(
  6. If I had to guess on the knobs I would guess Volume, Vintage Tone Control, and Tone....Its OK Point, I'll take it...

How can you guys afford Sadowskys? Is this a rich man's bass?

Sorry Sadowsky fans, but I've always thought the old P's were incredibly ugly :spit:
Gas warning? Yes, but not the kind you think.........

    Whatever floats your boat...

Doesn't do anything for me. In fact, I don't even like its looks.
So don't worry, I'm not going to snatch any Sadowskys up before you :p
  11. I forgot to mention my fetish for Old P's!!! So maybe it is JUST me....

I dunno, how can guys afford Hummers, Escalades, and Ferraris? :)

If you're interested in a Sadowsky and don't want to pay NYC prices, check into the Metro models that are less expensive (but still more expensive than Fender).

If you're interested in a 1951 model P-bass and don't want to pay Sadowsky NYC prices, check into the Benavente 51 model.

I'm neither affiliated with Sadowsky or Benavente... I'm simply a Sadowsky owner and Benavente orderer (sic). :p

Me too....I would love to have that bass, but short on money and I have too many sunbursts right now. Not that the color woud stop me, but I have to come up with reasons to keep the gas down.

Very cool... I've recently been thinking of a bass like that, with some changes: maple board, black guard, and standard P-J pups. Would be a great rock instrument. For now, a modified Fender may have to do...

Thats cool, i hope Roger makes it apart of the standard line. This bass would be really my thing with P&J pickups.

Cool, i cant wait to check them out tomorrow. :hyper:
  19. I have to say the two upper plastic knobs look like crap. Why not make all 3 knurled chrome?

I had to smile... it looks just like my Stin*g Sig, minus the sig... minus the maple fretboard... minus the money! :smug:

    I keed! I keed 'cause I lov!! ;)
