Sadowsky Lovers…..Here we go again!!!

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Tom Neves, Jun 10, 2005.

  1. Well after a six-month wait I finally received my Sadowsky PJ4.
    Without a doubt, all the talk about this wonderful builder is true to the mark.
    Roger and crew put together simply the easiest playing most beautiful tone sensitive monster I have ever had the pleasure to play.
    I want to thank all the Talkbassers that gave me a lot of good advise about Sadowsky Basses. COOL!!!
    You guys are tops!.

    Here are the specs;
    Standard size, (smaller) body, 8.5 lbs.
    Brazilian Rosewood slab board 20 fret neck, 9 in. radius
    Sadowsky hum canceling pickups
    Ash body with narrow band 59 burst
    Vintage tone control

    The neck is to die for..…straight as an arrow, not a dead spot anywhere, and talk about even volume between strings…..Damn!

    Take a gander…..I think I’ll keep her!

    This is making me ache for mine. A week and a half for the setup and she will be here.

    Sweet bass. One thing: I reckon it needs a mint green pickguard. Seriously though, such an understated yet so classy finish.

    Possibly the nicest burst I've ever seen...
  17. Wow! Yours is a lot like mine, except yours has more of the niceties (Brazilian, spokewheel). Enjoy!
