Any word on these basses yet?
Mine is on order. I'll post a review and photos when it arrives.
I have one of the NAMM Metros VIntage 4's & it totally compares to my NYC Sadowsky Vintage 4 in every way except price.
Wow...er...gosh...um...that's...er...pretty darn nice blue jazz!
I played them and as Nino says they compare in every way to the NYC line. I think a 24 fret Metro is in order here
Thanks a lot for the info!
All the best,
Very Nice Mr. Brown , single coils or humcancelling in that one?
Nino, when you finally get sick of this bass (and I know you will) would you kindly let me know! I love that bass... And I would love to have a nice Sadowsky in amongst all the Laklands!
They are worth every penny. I had #2 for a month before I had a chance to pick up Nino's NYC quilt top which forced the sale. People, don't hesitate!! Order one. They rock. Just like my NYC's but quite a bit less in price.
What makes them cheaper than the NYC ones?
nino do you get those basses for free??? or do they give you any discount because you work for mr sadowsky???.
If I got them for free, I'd have alot more than 4.
BTW, out of the 4 I currently own, only 2 (Metro & Tokyo) have been purchased while I was an employee.
If I wasn't a figured maple top junkie and already had two Sadowsky basses, then I'd be riding the METRO ...stat!
From Roger himself, my Metro 5 is supposed to ship the week of June 18th to Low Down Sound in Detroit. Don't know when others are scheduled to go.
We're getting closer boys!!!!!!!!!!!
That's good news! According to Roger I'll see mine in July.
MMM interesting, so you are rich or a man that has nothing else in his house than his basses?????
i've talked to Nino on the phone.
i heard a small human.
so, basses and small humans in his house, at least.
hehehe kinda lovely story
This is one fine looking bass http://sadowsky.com/stock/view/m_namm_3.html
