    Sadowsky Metro MV5 P/J -- 100% mint, no scratches/scuffs
    Frets in great condition
Neck is straight, truss rod works correctly
Lower asking price --> $2000 OBO, includes US shipping

Bought this 3 years ago here on TB (here's the thread link - SOLD - Sadowsky Metro MV5 PJ), and this was my "gateway drug" to the world of Sadowsky badness. Recently bought a NYC, so need to offer this one up to help fund the difference.

    Details:
    9.8 pounds
    Ash body, maple fingerboard
    Cherry burst finish
    White pearl pickguard
    34" scale
    19mm spacing at bridge
    Sadowsky hum-canceling pickups
Audere Classic 2-band preamp: 9 volts, unity gain, active only (no bypass)
Controls: volume, pan, bass boost/cut, treble boost/cut
    Dunlop strap locks installed
    Chrome knobs
Fretboard inlays (round black dots) are currently covered with pearl-look stickers (easy to remove)
Back is covered with plastic cling film to prevent buckle rash (easy to remove).
    Will include soft-shell case.

Let me know if there are any questions.
No trades - need the cash (PayPal OK).
Continental USA only, please - no overseas/freight forwarding deals.

    If only I wasn't in EU ;)

I read in your link the Audere preamp doesn't make any difference tonewise against the Sadowsky preamp. Do you feel the same?

From the former owner (in the link to the original FS posting):
Q: How does the Audere preamp sound compared to the original?
A: I can't honestly hear a difference between preamps with the controls set flat. Search the forum; I'm sure there are plenty of opinions.

I'd agree - with tone controls flat (e.g. the zero setting on the Sadowsky pre vs. the midpoint on the Audere), it's very similar. But the difference is in how the Audere handles the boost/cut sound vs. the Sadowsky onboard pre. If you're interested in comparing / contrasting, I'd recommend playing/hearing a Sadowsky bass with the stock preamp -- it's definitely quite a bit different than other preamps on the market.

Very nice! Think of the Audere as a more conventional/uncolored preamp, if that helps. I’m no electrical engineer, but my impression of the Sad pre is that the center point for the high band is higher, and the low band of the 2-band eq is lower - yielding a more modern/ hi-fi sound.
