    <<<<<<<<<<OK, BACK ON THE BLOCK>>>>>>>>>

I just got this, my first Sadowsky 5. It's killing me, but I've got to let it go. It is UNSURPASSED in all categories but I am not comfortable with the neck profile/width. Excellent condition, clean with a couple small marks as shown. No fret wear, pretty fresh set up with Black Beauties and it's playing great. Unplugged vibe is strong right down to the B. Light too! Comes with an extra tort guard and the rectangular Sadowsky case. Hum cancelling p'ups and VTC.

    $1950 plus actual shipping.
PayPal e check, cashiers check or other non-fee methods puleese.

Wow, it sure looks like a jazz bass, but is that string spacing P bass... or something in between maybe? Nice looker!

I think you are seeing some distortion in that photo, this is 1 7/8" at the nut like all the Sadowsky Metro 5's.

Aside from that slight mark on the back of the neck at the 4th fret (in the first group of pix) this neck is really nice.

So you know, trades are really limited- I am only interested in 5's with a 1 3/4" nut width and hopefully under 3" at the end of the board. If I could deal with anything bigger I'd be keeping this guy:bassist:

Cranked her up last night for a bit, very focused and even up and down the board, excellent B string clarity. I am very impressed, are they all like this?

Dayum. And for a mere $1000 more I could get this with a 1 3/4" nut!

This is the exact bass I want! I should be ready to make a purchase in a week or two. I hope you sell it, but I hope it's to me. I'll check back asap!
