    Looks to me that the R models have the Alder body/Rosewood fingerboard and the M models have Ash body/Maple fingerboard.

    M=Maple
    R=Rosewood

    love the boogie-down look and the graffiti logo. not to mention the subway stop. anyone know where that was taken?

    They would have hard case included in the price. Trans blue and 59 burst are looking very good.

    yup,

    nino showed me that R5-24, and its case was very streamlined looking. not the bulky rectangular shape of the USA versions. still, the semi-hard, semi soft material and construction. i actually preferred the Metro's case, cause it was like a waaaaay tougher looking gig bag, yet not as heavy or annoying as a hardcase.

    The case that came with my Tokyo 5 is great, very sturdy.

  18. The natural MV5 is definitely my thing... however the one that is on the Sadowsky site looks kind of..well..I have seen more exciting natural ash bodies than that one :meh:
    Does anyone know if the Metro's are made of Japanese wood?
    Or does Roger ship wood to Tokyo?

    And btw: great to be here with all of you bass geeks ;)

    I think i did here the wood is comming from the USA, those natural V5 are very cool basses. I personally think a perliod pick guard is the best on those.
