Just got off the phone with Sadowsky Tokyo
Was asking about half pickguards for the Metro RS/MS series and said they have just made some up , pricing was around $50(not definite) But it seems that clear is the only option at the moment. Hmmmmmm I told them I wanted one in tortoise or pearl , they said ahhhhhh custom order.....$150....ouch
Come on guys if we bug them they might offer some more colors.

Waiting to get my Sadowsky Tokyo JT/J back from the shop and see how the "Vintage Tone Control" sounds before ordering my new Metro.

Half of a pickguard?, I'm not understanding the reasoning behind that. :eyebrow:

    Do you have a picture?

My bass has a half pickguard on it.

I like the half pickguard because:
-it allows more thumb resting space on the neck pickup
-reduces the distance under the strings for popping
-reduces the wear on the paint from my nails
-looks different than other Jazz copy basses

Ooo, I like it. It'd be neat to see a colour one on a stain finish with a control plate!

Roger said yesterday that down the road they will be expanding on the Metro line. :hyper:
