I am still not totally sure I want to sell this one but I figured I would throw it out there. It is just not getting much playing time these days. I have had (still own 3) 5 Sadowsky basses and this one plays the best of all of them. Thus, the reason I am not sure I want to part with it.

This one was actually featured on the Sadowsky site until they rebuilt the site recently. Previously, any time you clicked on the picture of the bass that lead you into the NYC Bass In Stock section. You were clicking on this bass. The bass is still in excellent condition. I have even kept the clear plastic on the body at the top of the pickups that Sadowsky ships on the basses.

Here are the specs from Sadowsky:
    FINISH:Natural
BODY: Spalted Maple on Alder with Accent Stripe
FINGERBOARD:Ebony, No Face Dots, 12" Radius, 1 7/8" Nut Width
    PICKGUARD:None
    HARDWARE:Black
    PICKUPS:Sadowsky Soapbars
    WEIGHT:8.25 lbs. (3.74 kg)

The spalted top is the best I have seen. The original Sadowsky picture shows the top off the best but I have included a few others I have taken. It will ship with the original Sadowsky case.

$3200 shipped. Paypal e-check or money order preferred. New this one would be $4500+ from Sadowsky and a 6 months wait.
I am really not interested in trades but if you have something really interesting, let me know. But, chances are, I still will want to sell it outright.

Does it have the same bottom end that the Koa has?

If anything, more so...but more defined. The pickup positioning closer to the bridge gives you a lot more definition.

How's about a Kinal MK5-B + cash, or my Linc Luthier fretless 4-string + cash

Both cool basses, but not really in the market for either of those...Now, your Linc Luthier 5 string, on the other hand. :bag:

The 5-string is not for sale. The truss rod was broken in it and it's had an extensive repair, but plays better than ever now. :ninja:

Yes 34" scale. That is the standard for all Sadowsky basses
